Partnership Expands Apriso’s Reach in Americas and Asia-Pacific,
Adds Powerful Solution to TCS’ Portfolio

(Long Beach, CA and Mumbai, India, November 6, 2006) – Apriso Corporation, a provider of adaptive operations execution solutions for manufacturing, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: TCS.BO, NSE: TCS.NI), a leading global IT services and consulting firm, have entered a strategic partnership.  Under the terms of the agreement the companies will form a competency center for the implementation of FlexNet, Apriso’s flagship operations execution platform, in the Americas and Asia-Pacific region.

TCS and Apriso will jointly support customers in the life sciences, consumer packaged goods, automotive, mill products, and high technology industries.  The union will benefit customers in several ways: in the form of TCS’ implementation expertise; faster customer deployment; enhanced return on investment; more cost-effective delivery across multiple geographies; and both organizations’ combined expertise and experience deploying large-scale, multi-site software roll-outs.

The partnership expands and formalizes an existing business relationship that has already delivered significant value to customers.  Recent TCS-Apriso deployments include Cummins Brazil, a global designer, manufacturer, distributor and servicer of engines and related technologies.
