APRISO BUILDS VERTICAL MARKET MOMENTUM WITH ADDITION OF INDUSTRY EXPERTS

Company Poises for Expanded Market Penetration in Automotive, A & D,
Life Sciences, Mill Products, Electronics and Consumer Packaged Goods Industries

(Long Beach, CA - March 13, 2006) - Apriso® Corporation, a provider of adaptive operations execution solutions for manufacturing, has named domain experts from three industries as marketing directors.  The addition of these experienced professionals, each a leader in his respective industry, brings added domain expertise to the software vendor as it continues to build its product around the core industries it serves.

Reporting to Thomas A. Comstock, senior vice president of marketing and product management, the directors will be responsible for driving business development programs in core vertical markets for FlexNet®, Apriso’s flagship product.  FlexNet powers the manufacturing operations of Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Life Sciences, Mill Products, Electronics and Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturers around the globe.

Marcus Collins has been named industry director of Apriso’s Mill Products software solutions.  A 30-year veteran of the mills sector, Collins brings to Apriso 20 years of experience in the pulp & paper industry and 10 years in textiles and metals.  He most recently served as vice president of sales & marketing with TietoEnator (formerly Majiq), and prior to that as president of Somanco Management Systems; and general manager of Megamation Systems, Inc.  During his tenure with those companies, Collins achieved significant results in strategic planning, consulting, project management, systems development, and sales and marketing in the Americas, Asia and Europe.

Kevin Sullivan has been promoted to industry director of Apriso’s Aerospace & Defense product and marketing group.  Sullivan, who joined Apriso in 2001, has been responsible for driving the functional development of the company’s flagship product, FlexNet.  He has held technical and management positions in the manufacturing software industry for 18 years.  Prior to joining Apriso, Sullivan held management positions with Kronos and ShopTrac Data Collection Systems and provided leadership throughout the acquisition and subsequent rollout of ShopTrac by Kronos. Sullivan earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics from San Diego State University.

Fred Thomas has joined Apriso as Automotive industry director.  With more than 25 years of global automotive experience spanning OEM’s, suppliers and enterprise software solution providers, Thomas spent 12 years with Volkswagen of America as part of the IT leadership team with responsibility for manufacturing, distribution, finance and dealership management systems. As vice president of information technology with Ross Roy Communications for five years, his organization was responsible for developing and hosting Chrysler Corporation’s original Web sites and interactive advertising programs. He most recently held industry director positions with Baan/SSA Global and Novell Inc.

“Each of these professionals brings a wealth of industry knowledge and business development expertise to Apriso,” Comstock said.  “That will be important to us as we continue to build industry-specific value into our product.”

Each of the three industry directors has assumed his role.
