APRISO CORP. TO LOCATE ASIA-PACIFIC HEADQUARTERS IN BEIJING

Move Based Upon Increased Customer Demand on Mainland China

(Long Beach, CA - April 18, 2006) – Apriso Corporation, a provider of adaptive software platforms for manufacturing operations, will locate its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Beijing, the company announced today.  The office will provide a base for Apriso’s operations in the region, to be led by Chris Chung, vice president of field operations, Asia-Pacific.

The move to Beijing will enable Apriso to better serve its China-based customers and ensure they are getting maximum value from their deployments.  Apriso’s flagship product, FlexNet®, supports manufacturing operations for a number of China’s leading manufacturers, including Haier, Xian Janssen, Shanghai GM and Founder Group.  

“China is becoming the manufacturing center for the world,” Chung said. “Given Apriso’s leadership position in large multi-national manufacturers, it makes sense to headquarter our Asia operations in mainland China.  Demand from our customers has been skyrocketing here.”

The Asia-Pacific sales and support staff has doubled in size since January.  The company expects to continue adding administrative and customer support staff after the office opening, currently scheduled for July.  The address will be:
