MES Operations Analyst

Job Description:

  • Define data requirements, then collect, validate and analyze data, and develop methodologies, programs and formulae to identify requirements for major Production Planning and Scheduling processes, and to define detailed product and program specifications. Analyze nature of automation and integration needs, bottlenecks, and current systems deficiencies.  Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • Apply data and analysis to implementation of manufacturing execution system involving Production Planning, Scheduling, Warehouse and Inventory Management, Shipping and Delivery, Time Manager System and Quality Management modules. 
  • Participate in process authoring effort on projects including scope definition, requirement gathering, solution architecture, process authoring, gap identification, and gap resolution.  Analyze product performance through its lifecycle and make recommendations to senior management on improvements of existing and future products based on evaluation results.
  • Formulate and apply computer mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to optimize product management of company management products.  Help set product engineering and software development priorities to match product strategies.

Requirements:

  • Must have M.S. or equivalent in Engineering Management, Engineering, MIS or related. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant major plus at least 5 years’ relevant progressive experience as Operations Research Analyst, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Consultant, or related, is acceptable.
