Technical Trainer

We are seeking an experienced professional Trainer to join our Training Development department. We are seeking someone who is ambitious, organized and proactive. This role will split their responsibilities between Technical Training and Course Development.

 The Technical Trainer will work with management to identify learning objectives, create appropriate organizational models, identify appropriate job aids, create training exercises, participant materials, and ensure acceptable adult learning principles are utilized.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct training needs analysis with subject matter experts regarding instructional content/train clients

  • Design, develop, maintain and deliver classroom training modules and online courses

  • Design, develop and maintain support materials including online manuals, and facilitator guides

  • Maintain, improve, setup and troubleshoot training environments – both hardware and software

  • Organize all logistic required to deliver trainings onsite and in the office (materials preparation and printing, servers/materials shipping, travels, accommodation, training facilities

  • Travel up to 50%

Essential Position Requirements:

  • Presentation/teaching/public speaking

  • IT background and HW/SW knowledge related to setting the small network, deploying virtual images on the server, writing simple SQL/Jscript Queries, setting up the database and install Server.

  • Basic knowledge of Business Integration (especially with SAP) and Business Intelligence would be a huge plus

  • Trainer should be comfortable facilitating classes of all sizes and in many different training environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Required)

  • Masters Degree in related field (Preferred)
