Currently our Professional Services Department is seeking a new member to add to the growing team for the role Business Consultant.  The Professional Services Department travels globally to install and support product installations at client/customer sites.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining designated VP and C-level relationships
• Ensure all Apriso processes and procedures are followed
• Guide large enterprise implementations and global rollouts
• Support post-project reviews
• Present business content as required to diverse audiences
• Assist the project lead in resolving issues relating to successful project completion by escalating issues to the VP or C-level sponsors of the project when requested by the Project Lead
• Audit projects of comparable complexity to own project as required.
• Work with the appropriate teams to assure successful project completion
• Lead internal process improvement of Apriso business practices and procedures
• Responsible for selling additional Change Orders
• Responsible for all project planning and quotations, budget, schedule, customer satisfaction, ensure successful execution of plan
• Responsible for project risk management at proposal stage and throughout project, making plans to minimize risks
• Responsible for setting and managing customer expectations

Essential Position Requirements:

• Minimum of three years in a Supply Chain/ LES/ MES/ ERP functional role (either business or I.T.) providing familiarity with business processes and practices
• Experience in the Information Technology Industry, 4 years
• Experience in software project management, 3 years
• Ability to matrix manage consultants, 5 years or less
• Ability to manage multiple projects and  managers, 1 to 2 years
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) (English language)
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer and partner relationships
• Demonstrated ability to drive high margin additional business from customers and partners
• Demonstrated skills in successful project delivery
• Ability to use MS Project to plan and track project execution
• Ability to travel, 60-80%
• Offices are located in Long Beach, CA, local candidates preferred

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (required)
