Business Consultant - US
Summary
Currently our Professional Services Department is seeking a new member to add to the growing team for the role Business Consultant. The Professional Services Department travels globally to install and support product installations at client/customer sites.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
- Architect and deliver Apriso solutions, including process authoring in FlexNet™
- Architect solutions using “Best of Breed” business practices utilizing the Apriso software suite of products
- Responsible for planning and leading the process authoring effort on the project, including scope definition, requirement gathering, solution architecture, process authoring, gap identification, and gap resolution
- Create functional designs for extensions
- Lead the execution of “Train the Trainer” activities to prepare customer instructors to deliver end user training
- Lead the planning and execution of system and integration testing at customer site together with customer
- Implement the Apriso solutions (including installation of 3rd party software and configuration of 3rd party hardware) at client sites
- Provide technical support for our products until transition to support
- Support and participate in product integration activities
Essential Position Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Minimum of two years in a Supply Chain/ LES/ MES/ ERP functional role (either business or I.T.) providing familiarity with business processes and practices
- Minimum of two years experience in the Information Technology industry
- Good knowledge of RDBMS administration and tuning
- 2-3 years experience programming C++, C# and VB
- Strong analytical ability and excellent organizational skills
- Good knowledge of RDBMS administration and tuning
- Experience with on site software implementation
- Strong Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle Databases
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Travel up to 75%
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Required)
- Masters Degree in related field (Preferred)

Additional Skills:
- SAP or Oracle applications experience is a plus
- Experience using Biztalk Server, SAP Business Connector is a plus.
- Business Process Certifications, such as APICS, CPIM is a plus
- Strategic Program Certifications, such as Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus
- Understanding of RF and RFID technologies and devices
